Soursop is a plant native to Tropical America and one of the first products introduced in the tropics of the old world. In Ecuador, four types of soursop varieties born by seeds are grown, which are classified into three general groups based on their sweet, semi-acid and semi-sweet taste. All varieties are grown between 0 and 500 meters above sea level.
